About the video: Louise Story of The New York Times has a story in today's paper about a new form of video syndication from Google. The company has expanded its Adsense program to include video from Google content partners including Dow Jones and CondeNet. It's a new kind of syndication model where ad revenue is shared by Google, the content developer and the site where the videos are placed. These videos aren't ads, they are bona fide content from publishers. The clips, which appear in the Adsense box, have ads inserted into the video stream. Jeff Marcus Bullish on Contextual Video Ads A few weeks back, we interviewed Jeff Marcus (until recently he was Sr VP of Technology of 24/7 Real Media) who had a lot to say about the success and prospects of contextual video advertising that appear on sites. I have reposted his interview on this topic. See this video on Beet.TV: http://www.beet.tv/2007/02/google_launches.html
